Ensuring compliance to specified tolerances and providing the tools required for reverse engineering
Most projects today require high precision and proof of verification back to the 3D CAD model. This is easily accomplished at DCMC with our in-house Coordinate Measuring Machine’s (CMM’s) and trained engineers. Newly created patterns, molds, parts, fixtures, etc. can be verified to 3D CAD files to ensure compliance with your specified tolerances. Full CMM reports are created and supplied to you for your records.
When you make changes to products but don’t have accurate 3D CAD models representing these changes for use in production engineering documentation and creating new products we can reverse engineer them using our CMM’s! Once the data is collected, members of our skilled Design team create new 3D CAD models from “points” collected. In addition, if the customer requires a full 3-D scan of the object, DCMC can accommodate as well.
On high tolerance tooling, DCMC can provide the data to ensure that the product you receive is within your specifications.
Ensuring an accurate model is available in our CAD driven world.
Our team can leverage the technology to provide a complete NURB model.
